Detached from Font Losse on the opposite side of the barn and above the old stables we have converted the hayloft, where tobacco used to be dried, into a holiday apartment. This is light-flooded and, unlike the farmhouse, the style is modern and well insulated with double-glazing.
La Grange „Font Losse“
An open-plan area of over 50 m2 makes up the kitchen, dining area and lounge with an open fire. On a split-level there are three large bedrooms, walk-in wardrobes, two bathrooms with bathtubs and showers and a separate WC.
The apartment (108m2) easily accommodates 6 people; there is a sheltered southwest-facing loggia (16m2 ) and a large southeast-facing patio with a far-reaching vista over the Roman church and the silhouette of the castle in Lusignac.
The apartment comprises all modern amenities: electric heating, hot water, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric oven, gas hobs, extractor fan, satellite TV, stereo/CD player, telephone and wireless internet.
La Grange has its own piece of land with a garden, lawn and fruit trees, its own driveway and car park. Whilst Font Losse faces southwest, La Grange faces southeast.
Sheltered from the wind and well- hidden lies the 14 x 5 metre long swimming pool, surrounded by palm trees and bamboo and a 200m2 partially covered sun terrace. It has an outdoor shower, a water-spouting diving board and a Caribbean-style pool house including its own WC and a kitchenette with a sink and fridge. In the basement of the pool house there is an original Finnish sauna made of solid Scandinavian timber, a shower and changing room.
Booking
La Grange is completely furnished and equipped with all cooking and dining utensils. Guests do however need to bring their own bed linen and towels.
For those staying more than one week, a two-hour cleaning service is provided every Saturday free of charge
Although the pool is safeguarded with an alarm system we do assume that our tenants and their children are able to swim.
The deposit is 1/3 of the total rent. We request the payment of the remaining rent and also a deposit cheque for one week’s rent 30 days before the holiday date.
The weekly rental rate depends on the time of year and can be found in the rate list. Please ask for availability.
