La Grange


Detached from Font Losse on the opposite side of the barn and above the old stables we have converted the hayloft, where tobacco used to be dried, into a holiday apartment. La Grange is bright and colourful, well insulated with double-glazing and a modern interior.

An open-plan area of over 50m2 makes up the kitchen, dining area and lounge with an open fire. Over two floors there are three large bedrooms with double beds, a walk-in wardrobe, a bathroom with bathtub and WC and shower-room with separate WC. The apartment (108m2) easily accommodates 6 people; there is a sheltered south facing loggia (16m2) and a large south-east facing patio with a far-reaching view over the Roman church and the silhouette of the castle in Lusignac.

 

 

The apartment comprises all modern amenities: electric heating, hot water, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric oven, gas hobs, extractor fan, satellite TV, stereo/CD player, telephone and wireless broadband internet.

La Grange has its own piece of land with a garden, lawn and fruit trees, its own driveway with car park and a 12 meter private pool. Font Losse faces south-west, La Grange south-east, providing detached privacy for both houses. Because Font Lossefaces south-west and La Grange south-east, guests have their houses to themselves and they only have to share the pool.

Booking

La Grange is completely furnished and equipped with all cooking and dining utensils. Guests do however need to bring their own bed linen and towels. For those staying more than one week, a two-hour cleaning service is provided every Saturday free of charge. We assume that our tenants and their children are able to swim. Parents are liable for their children.

The deposit is ⅓ of the total rent. We request the payment of the balance and also a €1,000 deposit cheque 30 days before the arrival date.

A rental agreement (German law) comes into effect upon receipt of the deposit and our booking confirmation.

The prices include final cleaning service and taxe de séjour. Power consumption is measured by a meter reading and guests are requested to gauge how much firewood was used and are charged accordingly. Arrival time: Saturday after 3 pm. Departure: Saturday by 10 am.
